Why We Chose Baby Led Weaning and Tips/Reasons Why To Try It

Posted by Melissa Robertson-Bye on

Have you wondered how you are going to introduce solid foods to your baby?  Maybe you are nervous about where to start. What foods to start with. Or worried if they will even like it.  When Lilly was ready to start eating foods we started with whole, real foods in their nature state, also known as Baby-Led Weaning. We never introduced purees until after she was a year old. My life was made easy as I knew that anywhere we would go she could eat the food that was being served. Why Safety?

Over the years of running Munching Monster, I have received numerous questions about our products and lots of comparisons with other local companies. I started by looking up different affirmations on Pinterest and went from there. We would say things like “I am a good friend” or “I tried my best today” You could see the difference in her moods and...

I remember being so high stressed on this photoshoot day. The plan was photoshoot, lunch and back to school shopping. I laid out the dress I wanted her to wear. It was white with black bows. It was matching with my black dress and Jesse's black shirt and blue jeans. It was part of my vision for the shoot. I had the shoes picked out, they were cute...
